New 9-10m Kingfisher.

The success of this newly launched model has taken us all by surprise.

Taking over from its much loved little cousin in our stable was going to be a big set of shoes to fill.

It started out as a model we needed to make to allow the Police and Sea Rescue Groups who use this boat to fit the larger and newer style of V8 diesels engines into the hulls more effectively giving great area to work on the engines once installed and the ability to carry the increased weight.

To date the Recreational Public have loved it from its launch, offering a bigger beam at 3.1m and the ability to store loads under decks if diesels are not chosen. The boat is fast and dry and allows for plenty of customer input into its saloon and accommodation.

Having been built in both 9 and 10m models, the boat has already seen inboard diesel as well as outboards in various configurations including cabins layout, concertina doors giving open style arrangements that sleep from 2 to 6 people easily.

Plenty of customers are building large trailers to tow these boats 1600+ kms up to the north of our State to take advantage of the Kimberly cruising and great fishing grounds that abound in this region. If you’re considering a boat big enough for long weekends aboard, able to take on huge seas and yet still be able to be towed with a light truck, you can’t go past our Kingfisher.

Brunei Marine Police

Continuing our long association, since 2004, with The Royal Brunei Marine Police in building and delivering Power Catamarans, we have now branched into our own range of Rigid Hull Inflatables for high-speed boarding and interception.

The recent delivery of our 8.5 metre model for the Special Forces branch of Royal Brunei Marine Police has their crew ecstatic and have already recorded a number of captures and the seizure of over B$2m worth of contraband illegally being smuggled into the country.

We are soon to launch our 10.5 version of the Same RHIB to compliment our enclosed 12.5m cabin  "Predator".

Gwadar Port Authority (Pakistan) buys 2 new LeisureCat Security Patrol boats.

Recently added to our International Fleet was the building and delivery of two new 7000 Patrol Series boats for the Gwadar Port Authority in Pakistan. These boats will be dual purpose to aid in Security for the Port as well as provide, as required, Oceanic Survey and Mapping Services of the sea-bed and structure.

With enclosed cabins, air-conditioning and a range of over 250 nm, these Patrol Boats can comfortably remain within the port area for long periods of time to offer support, crew transfer and detailed Survey as required.

Built and delivered inside 8 weeks in total the boats were delivered with trailers to give them mobility as required to operate in outlying areas if needed. The mandate of 16 knots top speed and great economy was easily accounted for with twin 90 hp Suzuki 4-strokes, offering a top speed of 24 knots and an exceptionally long range at cruise.
