The LeisureCat 8000 Westerner power catamaran is a walkaround model that incorporates a large driving cab that still allows plenty of room down either side to allow fishing right around the boat. The larger cab gives greater weather protection for crew and a lockup cuddy with plenty of stowage and an electric toilet fitted.
There is plenty of comfortable seating with under-seat stowage in the bow area and an electric anchor winch for easy retrieval.
The large, self-draining deck has an access door leading to a platform between the engines and a dive ladder for swimming or diving access.
With its fast planing hull, the 8000 Westerner recommended engine power is 2×150 to 225 hp 4-stroke outboards. However, this particular craft has twin 175hp 4-stokes and. The 8000 Westerner has all the standard LeisureCat safety features and is also suitable for Police Patrol, Rescue and Marine Park Groups.
